Stuart connects the St. Lucie River and Indian River Lagoon to the Atlantic through St. Lucie Inlet. Anglers can move from docks, bridges, grass flats, and mangrove edges to reefs and blue water, but freshwater discharge and inlet conditions can change the plan quickly.
Winter is closely associated with sailfish, while snook, tarpon, redfish, and trout shift with water temperature, rainfall, and bait. Mahi and tuna opportunities vary with Gulf Stream position, current edges, and safe offshore weather windows.
Freshwater releases can affect salinity and clarity well beyond the river. Treat the Stuart tide prediction as a timing reference, then verify inlet flow, discharge, wind, swell, and the offshore forecast for the route you intend to run.
Planning only: Weather and tide feeds can be delayed or unavailable, and a station prediction does not describe every inlet, bay, creek, or offshore area. Verify actual conditions and never use this page for navigation.
